My name is Ameya Agarwala and I am currently a Senior at Cumberland Valley High School in Mechanicsburg, PA. I first got interested in Computational Linguistics when I visited France and Italy in 2019 during my summer vacation and encountered difficulties in understanding the written language. I was amazed by the capabilities of Google Translator and how it has made all our lives easier and simpler in the modern world. At the same time, I got intrigued by the science and algorithms behind it.

As I learn and get to know more about the fascinating field of Computational Linguistics, I will share the thoughts through my blog. I look forward to enrich my understanding and share videos and articles along the way that will help explore the related topics such as how translation of a phrase, sentence, paragraph, or essay full of words in different languages are interpreted through the computer.
